Arusha, Ngorongoro and Manyara Tour Itinerary

Day 1

AIRPORT TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK. (139.5KM, 2HOURS DRIVE)

Arrival, pick up from Airport and travel to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant’s herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. You will enjoy game drive and game viewing with picnic lunch.Dinner and Overnight at Manyara.

Day 2

KARATU - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (207KM, 3HOURS DRIVE

Early Breakfast at around 6.00a.m, then proceed on an en route drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best known wild life sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural and scenic values it as the greatest of plains concentration of plains game in Africa, Also known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest –migration, pride of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes and gazelles. (Dinner and Overnight Serengeti.)

Day 3

SERENGETI FULL DAY IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After Breakfast you will go for full day game drive for tracking wildebeest migration, millions of animals migrates from Serengeti to Masai Mara Kenya. They migrate throughout the year, constantly seeking fresh grazing and water. This wild animal movement is the largest overland Migration on the planet. (Dinner and Overnight in Serengeti National Park).

Day 4

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - NGORONGORO CRATER (160KM ,2HOURS DRIVE).

After breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour with picnic descent to the crater floor for the day tour. Some 20,000 mammals live in the area including about 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures. The crater floor also has one of the highest carnivore densities in the world. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals are commonly seen, while leopards, servals and bat-eared foxes may be seen with some luck.

Day 5

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO AIRPORT

After breakfast follows pick up and drive to Lake Manyara National Park with lunch box. the drive will take you 3hours.The park is home to the tree climbing Lions, Hippo, Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Giraffes, large groups of Baboons, Blue and Velvet monkey, Warthog and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park canoeing has recently been added to the tourist activities in this park at extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. Dinner and Overnight at Karatu. And later transferred to the airport.
